Abierto a todos los golfistas amateurs invitados miembros de clubes de golf privados nacidos en 1969 o antes.
HANDICAP INDEX
Los participantes deberán acreditar su handicap index actual de 30.9 o menos registrado el 1° de febrero con su GHIN o una carta de su club, la cual deberá mostrarse al momento de registrarse.
FORMATO DEL TORNEO
Categoría campeonato:
Está limitado a 20 jugadores con un handicap index de 4.7 o menos que jugarán 72 hoyos con un corte después de 54 hoyos para los 12 mejores jugadores, stroke play desde boyas azules.
Categoría leyendas:
Está limitado a 24 jugadores mayores de 65 años en el momento de la inscripción con un handicap index de 7.2 o menos que jugarán 72 hoyos con un corte después de 54 hoyos para los mejores 12 jugadores, stroke play desde boyas blancas.
Categoría Match-Play
Está limitado a 144 jugadores con un handicap index de 4.8 a 30.9 que constituyen 9 categorías cada 16 golfistas. Se enumerarán según el handicap index en orden ascendente (empates a decidir por fecha de inscripción).
Las primeras 6 categorías jugarán desde las boyas blancas y las categorías restantes jugarán desde las boyas doradas. Los participantes jugarán match-play durante un mínimo de 3 días y un máximo de 4 días.

EMPATES
Categoría de Campeonato y Leyendas:
Los empates por el primer lugar se decidirán por Stroke-play en los play-offs de «muerte súbita» hasta que un jugador gane un hoyo. Para los lugares del segundo al sexto, los empates se decidirán por el método de la USGA de «últimos 9, últimos 6, últimos 3, hoyo 18» utilizando las tarjetas de score del último día en los hoyos 18 a 10. Si el empate continúa, los scores en los hoyos 9 a 1 serán ser usado.
Categoría Match-Play:
Play-off “muerte súbita” hasta que un jugador gana un hoyo.
A go-go de damas:
Se compararan las tarjetas de puntuación de los equipos. Se decidirán por el método de la USGA de «últimos 9, últimos 6, últimos 3, hoyo 18» utilizando las tarjetas de score del último día en los hoyos 18 a 10. Si el empate continúa, los scores en los hoyos 9 a 1 serán ser usado.
Stroke play de Damas: Desempate de “muerte súbita” solo para el primer lugar.

Dama no golfista: Si está acompañado por una dama que no es golfista, debe registrarla en el sitio web siguiendo las instrucciones y completando la información requerida.

NOTA: Tenga todos sus datos a la mano (index, número de ghin, tarjeta de crédito y número de invitación).
Los golfistas que deseen participar en nuestro Torneo Seniors 2025 pueden registrarse dejando un depósito de USD$ 100.00 al starter. Esto le garantizará un lugar para este evento, siempre y cuando cubra la cuota de inscripción se reciba antes del 31 de octubre de 2024.
La cancelación de las tarifas de inscripción recibidas antes del 31 de diciembre de 2023 se reembolsará (con la nota de que es posible que deba pagar el cargo adicional del Depósito internacional) o se acreditará al torneo del próximo año, a su elección. Después de esta fecha no se aplicarán cargos por cancelación.
NOTA:
El Comité de Golf ha restringido las inscripciones al Torneo a los números anteriores para evitar salidas muy temprano en la mañana y congestión en el campo de golf. Se establecerá una lista de espera para todas las categorías y las inscripciones se otorgarán en función de las fechas de registro formal para el Torneo.
NOTICIA IMPORTANTE:
Los participantes que deseen jugar rondas de práctica antes o después del Torneo deben mostrar el documento que acredite su registro. Lamentablemente, los jugadores que no se registren en el lobby antes de las 14:00 horas del sábado, 10 de febrero, serán considerados como “no shows”.
TROFEOS
Categoría de Campeonato y Leyendas:
Se otorgará al campeón, subcampeón, del 3° al 6° lugar y al jugador con la mejor score en un solo día durante el torneo.
Categoría Match-Play:
Se otorgará al Campeón, Subcampeón y Ganador de semifinalistas del draw principal, así como a todos los ganadores de los dos primeros cuadros de consolación de cada categoría
Torneos de Damas:
A go-go: Campeonas, sub campeonas y tercer lugar por equipo.
Stroke play: Campeona, sub campeona y tercer lugar.
FOURSOMES Y TEE TIMES
Caballeros:
Se anunciará durante el Cóctel de Bienvenida para todos los participantes el Sábado 10 de febrero a las 18:30hrs. (atuendo casual).
Damas:
Se publicará durante un brunch para las damas participantes el lunes, 11 de febrero a las 11:00am. (Atuendo casual).
RONDAS DE PRÁCTICAS OPCIONALES
Los días de práctica para los participantes serán a partir del jueves 8 de febrero, adicional se tendrá el día oficial de practica el Sábado 10 de Febrero. Los jugadores también podrán utilizar las instalaciones del Club, incluido el campo de golf, a partir del jueves 8 de febrero. Todas las rondas de práctica requieren una reserva de tee time que debe ser confirmada con el starter.

JUGAR DESPUÉS DEL TORNEO
Todos los participantes y damas golfistas podrán jugar dos días durante la semana posterior al Torneo. Deberán solicitar los horarios de inicio (que serán a partir de las 12:00 horas) para el lunes 19 y martes 20.
RITMO DE JUEGO
Se dará alta prioridad al ritmo de juego durante el transcurso del torneo. Se requerirá que cada foursome mantenga el ritmo del grupo que tiene delante. Los grupos que comienzan en cada tee deben terminar su ronda en cuatro horas y cuarenta y cuatro minutos.
POLÍTICA DEL CLUB / CÓDIGO DE VESTIR
Guadalajara Country Club ha adoptado la política de la USGA:
Artículo 4.- Es imprescindible utilizar la ropa adecuada para jugar al golf en el Club o en las areas de práctica de acuerdo con las siguientes reglas:
REGLAS DEL GOLF
Las reglas de la USGA y las reglas locales del Guadalajara Country Club regirán el juego. Las decisiones de los jueces o del Comité de Reglas son definitivas.

DISCRECIÓN DEL COMITÉ
El Comité de Golf se reserva el derecho de admisión de jugadores y podrá realizar cualquier modificación en beneficio del Torneo.

5:00 p. m.: Evento de la Super Bowl
11:00 am: Brunch en honor a Lady Golfers (Just Ladies).
Todas las damas están invitadas (golfistas y no golfistas)
5:00 pm: Torneo de Approach para Damas y Caballeros.
14:00 h: Torneo de Putt para Damas y Caballeros.
19:30 h: Cena-Baile de Gala en honor de todos los participantes e Invitados (sacos y corbatas para caballeros).
Tour para las primeras 70 personas que se registren
10:00 am: Clase de Cocina Mexicana, para los primeros 30 que se registren

XVI. DEVOLUCIONES:
En caso de requerir una devolución, se debe solicitar directamente en la página web con la información requerida por la misma.
El proceso de recepción de información será dentro de los 15 días posteriores a la finalización del torneo, después de esta fecha el reembolso ya no procederá. La devolución será menos la comisión que cobra el banco debido al uso del servicio.

HANDICAP- INDEX
Participants must prove their current handicap-index of 30.9 or less registred of February 1st with their GHIN or a letter from their club, which must be shown when registering.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Championship Flight:
Is limited to 20 players with a USGA handicap-index of 4.7 or less who will play 72 holes with a cut after 54 holes for the best 12 players, stroke Play Tournament from the blue tees.
Legends Flight:
Is limited to 24 players over the age of 65 at time of registration with a handicap-index of 7.2 or less who will play 72 holes with a cut after 54 holes for the best 12 players, stroke Play Tournament from the white tees.
Match-Play Flights:
Is limited to 128 players with handicap-index of 4.8 through 30.9 who will constitute 9 flights each of 16 golfers. They will be listed according to handicap index in ascending order (ties to be decided by date of registration).
The first 6 flights will play from the white tees and the remaining flights will play from the gold tees. Participants will play match-play during a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 4 days.

TIES
Championship and Legends flight:
First place ties will be decided by Stroke -Play in “sudden death” play-offs until one player wins a hole. For second to sixth places ties will be decided by USGA method of “last 9, last 6, last 3, 18th hole” using last day’s scorecards on holes from 18 to 10. If the tie continues, scores on holes from 9 to 1 will be used.
Match-Play Flights:
“Sudden-death” play-off until one player wins a hole.
Ladies Scramble:
Same system as Championship Flight, comparing the teams’ scorecards.
Ladies Stroke Play Tournament: “Sudden-death” playoff only for first place.

Lady non-golfer: If you are accompanied by a non-golfer lady, you must register her on the website by following the instructions and filling in the required information.

NOTE: Please have all your information on hand (index, ghin number, credit card and invitation number).
Golfers who wish to participate in our 2025 Seniors Tournament may register by leaving a deposit of USD$ 100.00 to the starter. This will guarantee you a place for this event, providing your payment of the balance of the entry fee is received prior to October 31st, 2024.
Cancellation of entry fees received before December 31st, 2023, will be either reimbursed (with the note that you may have to pay the extra charge of the International Deposit) or credited to next year’s tournament, at your option. After this date cancellation charges will not apply.
NOTE:
The Golf Committee has restricted the entries to the Tournament to the above numbers to avoid very early morning starts and congestion on the golf course. A wait list for all flights will be established and acceptances will be granted on the basis of dates of formal registration for the Tournament.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Participants who wish to play practice rounds prior to or after the Tournament are required to show the document testifying to their registration. Regretfully players who do not register at the lobby prior to 14:00 hours starting on Saturday 10th February, will be considered as “no shows”.
TROPHIES
Championship and Legends Flight:
Will be awarded to Champion, runner-up, 3rd to 6th places, and to the player with the best single-day score during the tournament.
Match-Play Flights:
Will be awarded to Champion, runner-up and winner of the semifinalists match of the main draw, as well as for every winner of the first two consolation draws of each flight.
Ladies Tournaments:
For Champion, runner-up and third place teams in the “Scramble” and Champion, runner-up and third place in the Stroke Play Tournament.
PAIRINGS AND STARTING TIMES
Gentlemen:
Will be announced during the Welcoming Cocktail Party for all participants on Saturday, 10th February at 6:30 pm. (casual attire).
Ladies:
Will be posted during an optional Brunch for participating Ladies on Monday, 11th February at 11:00 am. (casual attire).
OPTIONAL PRACTICE ROUNDS
The practice days for participants will start on Thursday 8th, and the official practice will be on Saturday 10th, February. Players may also use the Club’s facilities including the golf course from Thursday, 8th February. All practice rounds require a tee time reservation which must be confirmed with the Starter.

PLAY AFTER THE TOURNAMENT
All participants and lady golfers may play two days during the week after the Tournament. They should request starting times (which will be after 12:00 o’clock) for Monday, 19th and Tuesday 20th.
PACE OF PLAY
A high priority will be placed on pace of play during the course of the tournament. Each foursome will be required to keep pace with the group in front of them. Starting groups on each tee must finish their round in four hours and forty four minutes.
CLUB POLICY / DRESS CODE
Guadalajara Country Club has adopted the USGA policy:

GOLF RULES
USGA rules and Guadalajara Country Club local rules shall govern play. Decisions of referees or Rules Committee are final.
